Baked marinated fish: the best recipe
Slightly sweet tinge of tomato marinade with a spicy flavor of basil is the perfect company for juicy white fish.
Marinated fish can served with mashed potatoes or boiled rice as a hot, or cold – as a great snack.
Preparation time: 1 hour 15 minutes.
6 large tomatoes
A few leaves of green basil
1 tsp tomato paste
0.5 tsp vinegar
1 medium onion
2 garlic cloves, crushed
Pound white fish fillets
A few sprigs of parsley
Salt, sugar and pepper – to taste
Grind the tomatoes in a blender along with the basil. Pour mixture in the pan, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
Add tomato paste and stir. At the end add the salt and pepper and the sugar. Sweet shade should prevail. Optionally, you can add vinegar.
Cut onion cut into half rings.
Crush the garlic.
Heat the pan with olive oil and fry the onions for 10 minutes. Per minute until cooked add garlic.
Wash fish fillets, dry using paper towels and cut into small pieces
