Broccoli Casserole recipe
Preparation time: 1 hour 15 minutes.
The recipe is well suited for: breakfast or dinner.
1/2 cup of milk
3 tbsp cream
1 tablespoon mustard
3 tbsp flour
150 g cheese (rub it on a coarse grater)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Freshly ground black pepper
Place prepared broccoli in boiling salted water, boil for 5 minutes, drain the water and place the broccoli into ice water so that it does not lose its beautiful green color.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Whisk eggs and add milk, cream and mustard and again whisk.
Sift the flour into the egg mixture. Mix well.
Add salt, pepper and the nutmeg.
Add to the batter 2/3 grated cheese.
Grease the baking dish with olive oil.
Spread the broccoli and pour fill.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese and put them in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until heated through and browned on top.
