Dried fig cake recipe
Our new recipe is perfect for a tasty addition to a refreshing morning cup of tea. Distinctive taste and fig aroma, combined with oatmeal gives a unique taste!

1 1/4 cup dried figs
1 cup water
1 1/3 butter stick
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup of sugar.
Pour water in the pan and cook figs over medium heat until tender. Grind cooked figs in blender.
Put butter in a separate bowl; pour the flour, baking powder, oatmeal, sugar and salt. Mix ingredients well. The result should have the dough-crumb.
Divide the dough into two equal parts. Place 1/2 dough at baking form.
Spread the figs on the dough layer. Sprinkle figs with remaining crumbs.
Bake cake in the oven at 200 C (400 F) for 40-50 minutes.
