Fruit bread recipe by hand
If you have breakfast at home, you will like the fruit bread recipe. Fruit bread is especially delicious with cheese or cottage cheese.

1/2 cups oatmeal;
1 1/4 cups milk;
2 cups rye flour;
1 tsp. baking powder;
1/2 cups dried cherries;
1/2 cups dried apples;
1/2 cups dried papaya;
1/3 cup brown sugar;
1 tsp. ground cinnamon;
3 tablespoons honey;
1 egg, lightly beaten;
5 tablespoons almonds or hazelnuts.
Soak oatmeal with milk in a bowl and let sit for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 180 C (350 F).
Lightly grease a baking dish and place a baking paper.
Mix the flour with the baking powder in a large bowl and add the oatmeal with milk, dry fruits, sugar, cinnamon, honey, egg and 3 tablespoons chopped almonds.
The whole mass is mixed quite hard, very dense.
Put the dough into the baking dish and sprinkle with remaining almonds. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour.
