How to create a sock snowman
Snowman is one of the heroes of constant winter decor. Its sweet and kind nature gives pleasure to children and adults. Today’s craft snowman will be interesting leisure for children and their parents.
You’ll need the following:
You can take two socks: white and decorative socks. But I have not a white sock, so I just took a piece of white cloth.
Rice for filler
Twine or ribbon
Sew white cloth. Tie a knot at one end of the white cloth. This is done from the inside.
Then turn it inside so the node is on the inside.
Fill the sock with rice. Be sure to push the rice down as you go. This will stretch the sock a bit and make it so you get a nice plump snowman in the end. Then, close the top by wrapping another rubber band around the top as shown in the photo above.
Then, close the top by wrapping another twine around the top as shown in the photo.
Wrap it in two places white thread; it would seem that the snowman is made of three balls.
Find a patterned sock.
Cut off a portion of the tube for use as a sweater, as shown in the picture.
Slip it onto your snowman. If desired, cut off the very tip of the same sock’s toe and use it for your snowman’s hat. Decorate them with buttons.
The final touches:
Next you add your embellishments. Eyes, nose, buttons etc… You can sew them on or use hot glue if you want. Add scarves, buttons, and pompoms as desired to dress up your snowman.
