Wine cork crafts are diverse and very popular right now.

Wine corks can be an original decor and even use this raw material to create beautiful jewelry.

In this article, we’ll show you how to make a wine cork trivet.

Keep your countertops cool by making your own trivets out of old wine corks. You can stand them all on end in a circle to create a taller trivet.  You can arrange the corks into any shape you want: circle, hexagon, square.  Either way, it’s important to make sure all the corks are the same height so you can create a flat surface for a hot dish.

Using the same concept as the trivets, you can create your own coasters to keep your tables clean and ring-free.

Materials and tools:

-wine corks

-hot glue gun with glue sticks

-ribbon

-acrylic paints

-pocket knife

-cutting board

Cut the wine corks in half. Glue them together in the shape of Christmas tree.  Attach the ribbon bow to the top of Christmas tree with clerical needles.  Paint the cork circles with acrylic paints.
