How to make Hanging Tissue Paper Pompoms
Hanging paper pompoms can be used for decoration of any holiday, children’s birthday parties or weddings.
To make this pompom, you will need:
Take a few sheets of tissue paper and place them on top of each other. In our case, we used the 3 sheets. Fold the sheets as if you are doing a paper fan. Then fix the wire in the middle and trim the edges of your fan as shown in the figure below.
Note that the edges can be cut not only in the shape of a triangle. You can make them round or not cut.
Carefully pull the pieces of paper to the center. Pull one by one and fluff up as you go.
The tissue paper rips easily. Only do about half of the papers on each side so you end up with a ball.
Flip it over and repeat on the other side. Make each side as even as possible.
Depending on the size of paper, you can get a small paper pompom for decoration napkin rings and cakes or a large pompom, which can be hung from the ceiling and decorate the wedding hall.
To make paper pompons you can use any thin paper. To be very accurate, pompom can be done even from the newspaper! It is very conceptual.
