Preparation time: 1 hour 10 minutes.
The recipe is well suited for: dessert.
2/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups oats
1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
Preheat oven to 175 degrees (400 F), place the walnuts on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes remove the baking sheet from the oven, allow to cool and cut walnuts into pieces.
In a small bowl, beat butter and sugar with a mixer until smooth, add the egg and vanilla extract and mix again.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
Add the resulting mixture at the whipped butter with sugar and stir until smooth. Then add nuts and oatmeal. Mix it.
Use a spoon to form balls and divide the dough. Pre- soak the spoon with water, then the dough does not stick. Form cookies and place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper – at a distance from each other – 5 cm
Dampen a teaspoon of water and push cookies.
Bake the cookies for 13 minutes, until it is light golden on the edges, but still remain soft and slightly moist in the center. Remove the cookies from the oven and let cool.
