Potato soup with prawns

Cook spicy winter soup using potatoes and prawns.

 Preparation time: 1 hour.

The recipe is well suited for: dinner.

  Servings: 2

 Ingredients:

4 potatoes

1 carrot

1 onion

2 garlic cloves

Pod of red hot pepper

Peeled ginger root 25 g

Olive oil 4 tbsp

Turmeric 1/4 tsp

 

900 ml chicken broth

Frozen cooked prawns 250 g

1 tsp sesame oil

Curry 1/4 teaspoon

2 tablespoons cilantro

2 tablespoons parsley

 

Preparation:

Peel potatoes, carrot, onion, garlic and finely chop. Grate the ginger grater. Cut hot peppers in half and remove the seeds.

Fry onion, garlic, ginger and pepper in 3 tablespoons vegetable oil. Add turmeric, curry and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add potatoes and carrots and cook for another few minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour 300 ml of broth and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, until soft potatoes.

Potato soup with prawns

Remove pepper from broth and chop soup in a blender, adding remaining chicken broth. Heat the soup, add the prawns, sesame oil and cook 2 minutes.
