Typically, these pancakes are made from zucchini. However, we propose to cook pumpkin pancakes.
We think that the pumpkin is best for pancakes. First, it is much more beautiful. Secondly, its sweet taste balances very good the salty taste of soy sauce.
Preparation time: 50 minutes.
The recipe is well suited for: breakfast, snack.
2 cups pumpkin, cut into thin strips;
¼ tsp salts;
3-4 tbsp flour;
1-2 tbsp vegetable oils;
For the sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce Kikkoman;
1 tbsp vinegar;
1 tbsp onion, finely chopped;
1 garlic clove, crushed;
1 green pepper.
Peel the pumpkin and remove seeds. Cut the pumpkin into fine strips and fold in the bowl. Add salt, stir and leave for 30 minutes.
After add 3-4 tbsp flour, stir and bake pancakes in a pan with vegetable oil. Press down the pumpkin pancakes to get a thin layer. Once browned on one side, gently flip and press down with a cooking spatula again. If necessary, add a little vegetable oil to make pancakes turned crispy.
Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl.
Serve the pumpkin pancakes with spicy sauce.
