Lay the cotton fabric, which will be lining fabric.

 


Now lay ribbons vertically.  Fasten each ribbon with a needle at the base.

 

Lay ribbons horizontally  in a checkerboard pattern.

 


Sew the ribbons to the lining fabric.

 

Sew the front and rear parts of the  pillowcase. Use satin ribbons instead of buttons.
