There are many ways to create handmade prints on clothes – with acrylic, water-resistant markers. We decided to revive the unjustly forgotten technology wax crayon prints! It can help to achieve a very interesting texture – it all depends on color combination and  surface.

Every mom in your life is faced with spots on children’s shirts. But we will not advertise the means to remove them, and show you how to disguise them with remnants of a wax crayons!

For work, we need:
hopelessly stained shirt
wax crayons
grater
paper stencils
paper for drawing
iron.

Prepare a stencil. Rub the wax crayons on the grater. We used black and gray, to yield interesting “point” texture – wax pigments mixed incompletely, resulting in what you can create a shimmering effect.
Put the paper inside the shirt. Spread the stencil on the shirt. Sprinkle with wax crumbs.
Put the white paper on top  and iron with the maximum temperature to melt the wax.
Give the shirt to cool, remove the stencil! If the wax is absorbed completely, this shirt is safe to wash in a washing machine at 40 C ( 104 F ).
